    I am so sorry for your loss Amanda. I can't imagine the pain you are going through. I am sending love and prayers your way.

    Like Tina said, try to take it easy and get back into it when you're ready. {{Hugs}}

    Hi Berries,
    I realize I've been absent for most of the thread but I need your advice or knowledge? Is it common for your luteal phase to suddenly get really long? Okay so this where I'm at ... average cycle is 27.36 days (tracking 13 cycles with a range of 25-30) and it's 31 right now. It's been 16-17 DPO (I used a OPK this month) so could my luteal phase just be really long? Bleh I hate when I get long cycles it's so frustrating. Thanks in advance.

    My cycles were on average 30 days. Due to the physical stress of a cervical biopsy before ovulation, my cycle was delayed and lasted somewhere from 45-47 days but we still got pregnant. I used OPK's to track my cycle and really understand what was going on.

    It CAN happen that you have a fluke cycle affected by stress, however if the stress occurs after ovulation your period will still come on time. If the luteal phase is the issue (very long or too short a time between ovulation and your period) speak with your doctor. You make need to take some supplements to help this out.

    So for my case, in example, my cycle was a LOT longer, but after I ovulated, my luteal phase was the same duration. Menstruation is a reaction from ovulation.

    Thanks Tina! I'm still really confused! Still no AF or BFP and I'm 8 days late (21 days past ovulation). I went to my dr and she said it was just stress too. It's funny that I don't feel stressed. I work an extremely stressful job but my cycles have bern normal (actually textbook) the entire two years ive had the job. She said to retest next tues to see if anything changes. It is so weird! Perhaps I'm having a hysterical pregnancy!!
