    Vintage baby names

My husband and I have been discussing recently baby names a lot. He isnt too fussed by names and has always said that he would leave names to me to choose as he knows how obsessed I am with them. We have recently been redecorating our house and looking at all our accesories we've noticed we have developed a real British vintage theme going on.
This has got me thinking could I like some vintage names for babies?

I am starting to like names like

    Girls

    Florence
    Violet
    Iris

    Boys

    Phinneas
    Theodore

what other names fit in this group. Which names would make a great sibset? 4 kids (2b, 2g) What MN's go with vintage names? Can more modern names go with these? WOuld you go with more cute MNs to go with quite serious grown up names which is what I kind of see the vintage names as.
    My angel babie Trinitie Mae.
Mama to Maddie the dog, Daisy and Oakley the guinea pigs
Current favourite girls - Freya, Imogen, Eleanor, Beatrice, Violet, Juniper, Genevive, Clementine. MN will be Willow, Robyn,
Current favourite boys - Rafferty Saxon, Theodore, Phineas, Isaac, Felix, Lucas, Judah Levi

To give it extra British pizazz, you should consider three-name combos

Florence- Such a doll! Growing steadily in Uk-
    Violet
Iris- Def preferred more across the pond

I would add Daisy, Freya, Alice, Winifred (Winnie), Poppy, Imogen, Sophie, Jemima, Harriet, Clara, Phoebe

Florence Matilda Rose, Iris Winifred Alice, Freya Imogen Violet, Violet Rose Patricia, Harriet Daisy Jemima, Poppy Imogen Clara

    Boys

    Phinneas
    Theodore

I would add Alfie, Archie, Harry, Callum, Edward, Rhys, Reuben, Louie, Freddie
Theodore Callum Rhys, Phinneas Archie Reuben, Callum Archie Frederick, Edmund Rhys Louie
I love Theodore (Teddy is very English hip), Florence, Harriet and Edmund (Ned) together. I also like Iris, Archie, Flora, and Reuben. Good luck!

These feel vintage to me. Some I like, some I don't.
    Flora
    Dorothy nn Dottie
    Edith nn Edie
    Rose
    Rosemary
    Agnes
    Agatha
    Mabel
    Mildred nn Millie
    Millicent nn Millie
    Beatrice
    Lavinia
    Adelaide
    Adele/Adela/Adelle
    Adeline
    Ada
    Della
    Dora
    Florence
    Frances
    Helen
    Matilda nn Tillie or Mattie
    Louisa
    Emmeline
    Eliza
    Pearl
    Opal

Vintage but popular right now so feeling more modern:
    Lillian
    Evelyn
    Ruby
    Clara
    Amelia
I think Alice is getting there too, and probably the Ad- names like Adele.

Boys - harder for me to think of these off the top of my head but:
    Alfred
    Albert
    Roger
    Theodore
    Julius

I think good middle names for vintage names are classic names, quirky names or other vintage names. Some modern names would work but many sound off to me.

I love a lot of these names too.
    My favorite vintage names are:

    Marietta
    Iris
    Isadora
    Louisa
    Vivian
    Helena
    Georgiana
    June

I think I need to branch out past Nameberry though because some of these names are starting to feel "normal" to me. I know that's crazy. It's a little hard to keep perspective on this site.

I would go with other vintage names. Violet Ashley would just ruin it in my opinion, while Violet Genevieve would sound divine. More ideas:

    Agatha
    Eudora
    Pandora
    Parthenope
