    Burgundy?

I have becoming more in love with this as I think of it. It doesn't really fit in with the other names on my list, but I have always loved colour names. I'm liking it on a girl, though I can see it on a little boy as well. I love that it has the unisex nickname potential Andy, too, or maybe even a clunky Burg/Burgs? Is it too pretentious as far as colour names go? Any thoughts?

I love the colour, but the name actually feels really masculine to me, my instant thought was beef burgundy pie and then the nickname burger, which could especially bad if she was a chubby girl, booger could also be thrown in there, I see the name riddled with problems.

If you like the colour have you thought of similar colour names Cherise, Violet, Veronica is the traditional name of purple.

I feel like Burgundy would be a name that could easily be picked on to be honest.... kids might call him/her burger or point out that they are a crayon or something... kids are cruel....

I like it. I would use it in the middle spot. (No teasing potential if it's in the middle, and you don't have to worry about a good nn)

I like it! Very sophisticated and original without being to out their. It seems really girly to me so I have no idea how everyone is feeling masculine from it. I think Bunny would be a cute NN especially when she is littler

Personally i thought you were thinking of it as a place name so it might cause some confusion. I think if you're going to use a color word name that's a little far out there or could mean more than one thing it needs to be something significant to you like ones from your university

It sounds really clunky to use as a name, I don't like it at all and don't see it catching on. Sorry.
