I love Leyla. It's common enough that everyone can pronounce it but has an exotic flare (in my opinion). I think it could fit a child or an adult.

I like Leyla, but I much prefer Layla (spelling seems more 'floral' to me).
I imagine a girl with a green thumb. She loves growing flowers of all shapes and colors, and loves wearing flowers in her hair.

Spelled that way because we live in a spanish-speaking country and no other spelling would be pronounced right. it means "dark haired beauty" so it fit my daughter perfectly and i agree with the others who said it has an exotic flare to it!
