I like Layla a lot, but I vastly prefer the Leila spelling. I think it looks a lot cleaner and more attractive. My favourite middle names to go with Leila are Leila Juliette, Leila Mirabel, Leila Caroline, Leila Faye, Leila Primrose and Leila Ivy.

I like it, though I would strongly prefer to see it spelled Leila! I envision a girl that is very spunky, exotic and athletic. I like Leyla Kimberly if you do not have Kimberly attached somewhere else.

I love Leyla. It's common enough that everyone can pronounce it but has an exotic flare (in my opinion). I think it could fit a child or an adult.

My daughter's name is Leyla Rebekah Spelled that way because we live in a spanish-speaking country and no other spelling would be pronounced right. it means "dark haired beauty" so it fit my daughter perfectly and i agree with the others who said it has an exotic flare to it!

I like the name, but not the spelling - I really only like the Laila / Leila spellings. I have an irrational hatred of Y's, though, lol.

I picture someone outgoing and artistic with the name Laila - Laila Rhiannon was on my list for a while.

I like Leyla, but I much prefer Layla (spelling seems more 'floral' to me).
