I love Mila. It's gorgeous. Not sure how well Prue pairs with short names, though. Seems very choppy. Mila Prue. Lily Prue.

We have contemplated Layla a few times, how ever, everytime we hear the name we hear the Eric Clapton song (which isn't necessarily a bad connection how ever it's there) .. As for Prue as the middle name we both want a one syllable mn to match better with our last name and our sons name is 2 syl - 1 syl first name last name. Prue to me is a beautiful feminine name and uncommon (in Australia atleast) an has a great meaning. Also for some reason when I look at the name written is see 'pure' at the same time which I love. I agree it doesn't go well with Lily so I probably wouldn't have it for that same but Mila Prue is gorgeous to me
lucystone - thank you for your suggestions I have written down the ones I like to show hubby! Alot of beautiful names in your list!
