I like Rhys/Reece, but a friend has claimed it. Sterling was once on the list, but I took it off because it sounded a bit pretentious to me somehow.

I'm thinking I might nix Hudson and Levi since they seem to be pretty popular right now.

I am drawn to Rex, Dexter, Dax names (guess I like the X sound), but I don't think DH loves them as much as me. Does Rex Reilley sound too close to Rex Ryan (do people know who this is, and does it matter?).

    Thanks!

Out of your names, with the surname Reilley, I like:

Jagger - I'm probably in the minority here, but I really like the sound of the name.
    Kane
Leland - One of my favorite names.
Levi - This has been climbing upward and is in the Top 100 now if that bothers you.
Heath - And to answer your earlier question, yes, I can see this name on a tall, sporty guy.
    Trace
    Hayes
    Nash

My husband and I had this problem, but luckily we had a girl!
For boys he liked these very macho names- Cassius and Ulysses and Zeus were his top names.
I liked 'grandpa' names that my husband said sounded girly- Conrad, Elliot, Elias, Felix, Cecil, Wallace, Sidney, Leland, Levi.

I ended up almost caving to Cassius which has a macho reference, but a softer sound (I just can't get into the nn Cash...almost like Bentley or Diamond to me!) and I almost pulled him over to my side wit spunky Ace as nn for Wallace...maybe one of those would work for you?
