I was wondering about Milan too and got put off by the girl's name listing as I thought I had a few too many of those already. It seems strange to me that so many place names are considered girl's names rather than unisex.

Milan is a rare name; I wouldn't immediately put it to one gender or the other. Originally Posted by cka

Milan as a Slavic name isn't related to the city's name. I don't think Milan is feminine at all, and I'm with you- I think it's strange how many place names are considered female-only. Originally Posted by cka
