    The Final Decision

Hi Berries! My husband and I have finally narrowed down our name list for our third baby. If it's a girl we have our top five names selected, which is good because I'm due in less than a week!

    - Roslyn
    - Natalia
    - Lainey
    - Blaire
    - Brookley

What do you think of our top five? Which name is your favourite? What combination of a first and middle name would you choose? We also have a son named Colson Bennett and a daughter named Briar Avalon, so which name(s) do you feel go best with our children?

    Thanks,
    Alyssa
Mommy to Colson Bennett, Briar Avalon and Natalia Roslyn

I like Natalia (though I prefer Natalie personally) and Blaire. With the other names, I'd definitely go with Natalia! Roslyn and Lainey are fine, just NMS. Don't really like Brookely, kinda trendy for me. I do like Brooke though!

I like Lainey with your sibset. Have you thought of it as a nn for Elena?

Lainey & Natalia go best with your sibset. I really like Blaire but worry of it's similarity to Briar. I don't think either Roslyn or Brookley fits with your other children's names.

Rosalyn, Lainey (I'd go with Laine, and let Lainey be a nn. Lainey is a tough name for an adult.), and Blaire. Those sound really nice with your current kids' names.

Brookley is kinda strange - she'll be constantly correcting people who think it should be "Brooklyn". Maybe consider Brooklyn for the formal name, and use Brookley as a nn?
Girls - Abigail, Georgianna, Anne, Charlotte, Claire, Genevieve, Annette, Eliza, Felicity, Hannah, Noelle, Eugenie, Grace, Phoebe, Philippa, Cecilia, Cecily, Elizabeth, Hollis, Piper, Lorelei, Vivienne, Paige, Carolina, Isobel, Lucy, Molly, Georgia, Victoria, Naomi

Boys - Bobby Sparklefritz until H can offer suggestions. Ones I like: Rory, Owen, Tyler, Ian, Elliot, Alexander, Ephraim, Levi, Jacob, Reid, Avery, Nathan, Miles, Jasper, Spencer, Toby, Dean, Philip

    My recommendation is ...

    Arden/Auden
    Briar
    Colson

... another two-syllable English unisex name with a similar attractively-formal-and-affluent feel.

Roslyn - My runner-up out of your name; though I do prefer Rosalie/Rosalia
Natalia - My favorite out of your names; pretty, sophisticated, and uncommon.
Lainey -My little sister's name is Layne, and we call her Laynie. Strictly a cute nickname for me.
Blaire - I'm neutral on this one; not sure of what to think of it.
Brookley - Prefer it as a nickname for Brooklyn.

I think Roslyn and Natalia work the best with your sibset.

    Roslyn-love
Natalia-very pretty though most people will mispronounce it I think
Lainey-LOVE, but my daughter's nn is Laney so I'm biased
    Blaire-just not my style
    Brookley-great alternative to Brooklyn

    My suggestions:
    Delaney Blair nn Lainey
    Delaney Roslyn nn Lainey
    Laine Brookley nn Lainey
    Natalia Blair
    Elaina Blair nn Lainey
