    I gave a character in a story I wrote once the name Helenora, and her middle name was Rose. I think that could work for you due to the quirky factor (have you ever met a Helenora?) and the classic elements, like the fact that it combines Helen and Nora.

    For you and your family, I'd also suggest some classic Greek/Roman names, like Phoebe, Junia, Lydia, Lucia, Aurora (goddess of the dawn), and Xanthe.
