Smile Just when I love a name..

    It gets popular!

I'm in the VERY early stages of TTC, but absolutely LOVE baby naming. Everyone comes to me when its time to discuss baby names. So, I've had many "lists" of baby names over the years - when I was no where near having an actual baby! But now that those plans are in the works, I need new baby names! All the ones I currently love are much too common OR have already been "taken" by close family/friends! So, here are some names I have loved - help me find some new ones!

    Ceclia
    Amelia
    Eden
    Madeline
    Annaliese
    Ilsa
    Vivienne
    Matilda
    Genevieve
    Annabelle
    Emmaline
    Mirabelle

Now, here are some I'm considering right now...

Elizabeth Katherine Marie nn Ella Kate (this is a long running fave and still a potential contender - but I know how popular Ella is... However, I do LOVE the idea of a double nn! I also think I am sold on the three name idea - more names the better right?

Elouise - my grandmother's name. Still has the "Ella" possibility but isn't as common as Elizabeth. The problem is I don't know that I love Elouise itself.

Lila/Lilah - I adore this name, but would prefer it as a nickname. Any thoughts on how to get to Lila?

A few other notes: I love nicknames - any child of mine will need nickname possibilities! Also, I do really like virtue names - but mostly as middle names. I think the meaning behind names are important - so while I love "Mara", I just couldn't handle its meaning. I could be sold on a name based on meaning alone.

    Ok Berries! Suggest away!!!

You have a great taste in names, I really love a lot of the names that you really love too!

Elizabeth Katherine Marie is very beautiful and defiantly could work very well, however if you are trying to stay away from really popular names, these are kind of three of the most common middle names put together. What about Elaina/Elena, Ellen, Eleanor/Eleanora to get the nickname Ella?

I love Elouise (although I prefer the Eloise spelling) and I love that it honors your grandmother! I think that if you really want to use Ella as a nick name that you should defiantly go with Elouise. It is very beautiful and also a lot more unique than Elizabeth.

Lilah (I like this spelling best) is a new favorite of mine. I think that it is also very gorgeous, maybe you could use these names to get Lilah... Delilah, maybe Lillian/Lilliana, Lilac. Personally I think that Lilah stands fine by itself.

I don't know about the meaning of all of these names, but I'm just going to throw out some suggestions, Hope that I could help!
Lucia: you could use Lucy as a nickname (which means light)
    Adelaide: Addie, Adele, Adela
    Clara: Claire/Clare
Caroline (song of joy): maybe to popular, but you could use Cora, Carrie, Lena/Lina maybe
Antonia (beyond praise): Annie, Anna, Toni
    Helena: Lena, Helen, Leni
Charlotte: might be too popular now, but Charlie is so cute as a nickname
    Louisa: Louise, Lou, Lucy, Lola
Emilia (Em-a-leah): Em, Emmy, Lia, Leigh, Millie
Stella: Ella, Bella, Belle (might be stretching it)
    Evelyn: Eve, Evie
    Elodie: Ella, Ellie
    Aurora: Rory
    Josephine: Josie, Posey
    Penelope: Penny, Pippa
    Annika: Annie
    Anastasia: Anna, Annie, Stasia
    Rosalie: Rose, Rosie
Please pray for Lucy, her and her family need your support: http://erikandkatekrull.blogspot.com/

    Currently loving....
Henry, Jack, Jude, Liam, Beckett, Wesley, Noah, Mason, Simon, Luke
Lucia (Lucy), Annabel, Eloise, Leah, Avery, Brennan/Brynn, Lilah, Reese, Annora, Antonia

Amelia - Emilia (prn. eh-mee-lee-ah, not em-a-leah), Araminta, Amira, Alina, Aurelia, Aurora, Aria, Adrienne, Arielle, Alita, Audriana, Adria, Aveline
Eden - Elodie, Erin, Elena, Elora, Alura, Eve, Evelina, Elissa, Eliora, Ember, Eleanor, Elsa, Elspeth, Ellery, Emerald
Madeline - Caroline, Coraline, Adelaide, Delaney, Miranda, Molly, Mariana, Marina, Maryjane, Meredith, Magnolia, Mallory, Maribel, Magdalena, Margaret, Marigold, Marguerite

Annabelle - Corabelle, Willabelle, Rosabelle, Lilabelle, Arabella, Amabelle, Belina, Belinda, Belicia, Bettina (nn Betty)
Emmaline - Evelina, Aveline, Avelina, Amaline, Celestine, Jessamine, Jacqueline,
Mirabelle - see Matilda, Madeline and Annabelle suggestions

Elizabeth Katherine Marie nn Ella Kate - never really heard of a double nickname before, don't know how I feel about it. But I think I'd say if you're going to have a double nickname why not just call her by a long full name? I don't know. But I do agree on the two middle names, although I know a lot are against it. Some think it's pretentious, I guess. But I myself might only ever have one kid and there's a few people I want to honor, but I don't want to put aside non-family names that I like, so I love the idea of two middle names. As for Elizabeth Katherine Marie, I like it, but I hated Elizabeth at first, then liked it when Pirates of the Carribean came out, now hate it again. Katherine's always sounded too close to catheter for me. Marie just sounds like a fill in/standard middle name and reminds me of Marie from Everybody Loves Raymond. But when I take a second look, the three of them together makes the name sound sophisticated.

Elouise - Eloise is very similar and more on trend, but you could also have an Ella name with either Eloise, Elouise, Louise, Louisa or Heloise in the middle

Lila/Lilah - I like it, ever since the idea of Lila Belle

I think Elizabeth Katherine Marie is lovely! Partly Because if I ever have a girl her middle names will be Katherine and Marie ( katherine is my middle name.. was my great grandmas name and Marie is my other great grandma as well as my grandma)

I LOVE eloise! I think the nn Ellie is cute too.. Elli Kate or Ellie K. would be adorable in my humble opinion!!!

Some other suggestions based on the names you have....

    Natalia nn Nat or Talia
Eleanora nn Ella, Ellie or Nora
    Coraline or Corinna nn Cora
    Georgia nn Gia or Georgie
Elisa or Elise nn Ella or Ellie
Francesca (fran chess ka) nn. Frankie ( for some reason i love the nn Frankie for a little girl!)
    Iliana nn Ana
    Gemma nn Gem
Lilya nn Lil (russian version of Lily)
    Elena nn Ellie, Ella, Lane
    Stella nn Ella

I also love the 3 names thing! ( hence my sons name.. see signature)
I think my faves for the middles names you have would be...

    Gemma Katherine Maire
Eleanora Katherine Marie (this is my number 1 pick if we have a girl next!) nn. Ellie Kate, Ella Kate or Nora Kate! ( i wouls personally use the nn Leni or Nora but i LOVE the double barreled nn!)
Lilya Katherine Marie nn Lily Kate
Iliana Katherine Marie nn Ana Kate
