I think Tempest would be a good way to get to Tess or Tessa.

You might be able to use Beatrix/Beatrice.

I knew a Contessa who went by Tessa.

I've read that Tess can be an obscure old nickname for Elizabeth, one of multiple T- nicknames that have fallen by the fashion wayside. I can believe it if you think about how many nicknames have been created by changing out the first letter, such as Polly from Molly or Peggy from Meggy-- Tess is to Bess what Tetty is to Betty and Tibby is to Libby.

I think Tess could arguably be a nickname for Esther or Estelle too. All the right sounds are there, just backwards.

Theodosia & Tiesa + Estera & Temperance, maybe.
