    Question Pronunciation of Rhys???

Me and my husband have recently started to like the name Rhys for a boy. I pronounce it (Riss). But my husband pronounces it (Reese). We really like the name but don't want to consider putting it on our list for a future son if we don't know how it's pronounced! So we are looking to you berries to help us out! So how would you pronounce Rhys?? Thanks!

I thinks it's pronounced /Reese/ or /Reez/. Riss sounds harsh on the ears and the sound a snake would make.

It's just like Reese/Reece, I believe. I've heard others say it like "rice", but "reese" is the proper pronunciation.
