    Little sister for Vivienne...

I am due for my second child (a girl) in June and I am having a terrible time thinking of a name for her.

Our first child is Vivienne and I chose it because it was traditional yet it felt fresh and feminine. I would like to keep with that same goal this time...I am looking for any suggestions you may have.

I would like to avoid "E" names

    Thanks a million!

I'm not sure how traditional these are, but here are some fresh, feminine, and vintage names to go with Vivienne:

    Briony or Bryony
    Louisa
    Beatrice
    Lydia
Florence (nn Flora, Lora, or Wren)
    Cecily
    Helena
    Amelia
    Celeste
    Adelaide
    Clara
    Aurora
    Juliet
    Rosamond/Rosamund or Rosemary

Did you also choose it for the French connection? I think Vivienne is beautiful and would go with:

    Margot
    Lucette
    Lucille
    Juliette
    Odette
    Genevieve
    Estelle
    Delphine
    Lorraine
    Gisele
    Evette
    Colette

    non-French but complementary:
    Rosalind
    Romilly
    Beatrix
    Oleta
    Imelda
    Florence (popular tho)
    Eleanora
    Evelyn
    Florine

What do you think of these?
    -Ginny
Mama to the awesome Milo Edward.

Thanks so much for the inspirations...I was making an informal list this morning and Beatrice, Georgina, Sylvie and Cecily were on it...seems like we are all thinking in the same space.
