Zerubbabel Habbakuk, nn Zubby for short. It's what we called my sister before she was born. It was disgusting, and we insisted to all and sundry that it was both ambi-gender, and for serious. Everyone was pleased when she was called Laura Rachel instead. :P

My current fetus is called Wembley Tolliver Constantine Leonidas Q. Bump. Wembley is of course less than thrilled to be addressed as such and punches my bladder in revenge. As he's the size of an avocado currently, I do not much care about this.

I love wombmate! Actually what we use is a placeholder name (same concept right?) to give out when people ask what we're naming the baby since we won't share our names until the baby is born. We used Zebulon Yul, which switched to Zebulina when we found out it was a girl. The only other was "Milo" dubbed by a co-worker friend who didn't want anybody using the word fetus anymore lol.

My friend named my baby "Apple" so until we decided her name (nearly at the end of the pregnancy) I referred to her as Apple.

I thought about Apple, being short for Apple Pie. But I've settled on Pikelet.

And if anyone asks "what names are you thinking about?" I'm armed with two dreadful ones to throw them off the scent of what I'll actually choose... these are Eugene and Gertrude.

With DD, we called bump Mtoto which is swahili for baby. We got married in Kenya in June and pregnant in September so it seemed fitting. Went back to bump when i kept having dreams of about giving birth to an african baby in a mudhut!

So far this pregancy it's just bump or baby.

Hahahahahaha! This whole thing cracked me up! Love Zerubbabel Habbakuk and Wembly... :-) My bump was Shnicklefritz and he was a tap dancer. First on my bladder, and then on my ribs. He may have even helped crack one. I still call him Shnicklefritz sometimes. ;-)

Peas for twins is cute! Haha.

I have never even heard of "bump names" before nameberry! I would probably just call them baby last name or if I found out the gender I would say mini me or mini DH's name. I'm afraid the bump names would stick! Unless it's a nickname I plan on using later!
Baby Hernández is due Nov. 22!!
