Longer non-a-ending names with intuitive 2-syllable nicknames that DO end in a

For example, I love Eleanor, nickname Nora. That's not a great example, though, because Nora is not really that intuitive a nickname from Eleanor. Are there other names that do this? I can't think of any! Bonus if the nickname sounds good as a free-standing name.

    Cair Paravel :)
I think Eleanor nn Nora is totally intuitive. Nora is a popular nn for Eleanor. I think Eleanor nn Ella would be a great choice, too. What about:

    Bellamy/Isabelle/Mirabelle/Annabel/Arabelle "Bella/Ella"
    Evangeline "Eva"
    Emmeline "Emma"
    Amelie "Mia" (similarly, Emily/Emilie...)
    Lillian "Lia/Lila"
    Genevieve "Genna"
    Imogen "Genna/Imma"
    Penelope "Lola"
    Caroline "Cara/Lola"
    Zenobia "Bia"
    Magdalene "Lena/Magda"
    Helene "Lena/Ella"
    Catherine "Kata"
Beatrice "Bea" (said like BEE-ah or BAY-ah?)
    Noelle "Nola/Noa/Ella"
    Juliet "Etta"
    Therese "Tessa"

    Good luck!
