Help can no longer use first name!! Help pick another one!! Desperate!!

Hi,

Firstly thank you to everyone that helped me with the picking of middle names for Lily, I appreciate it so much but I can no longer use that name! I wasn't telling people the name we had picked out until she was here and my cousin just had a baby girl .. and named her Lily! (My fault for not telling people I guess) while we aren't close close to her, we are close enough to see the family on special occasions eg, christmas/easter. Sigh.

So can I get help please with more first names please ?! Along the lines of Lily .. I love the names Mila and Lila but unfortunately can't use them either .. I feel like I am back in square one. Other names I like are Ariella, Milena, Brie/Briarne .. Just examples that I can think of at the moment .. No 'B' names as our last name is Bailey.

I know I was devestated.. I was so set on Lily .. Thank you for your suggestions! Isla I like but DH said no when we were first looking for names! It took us so long to get to Lily I feel like I have a massive task ahead of me!

Rose was my first thought. Or how about Zinnia - something with a little more zip?

I think Emily and Lucy have a similar feel to Lily. What about a Lily variation such as Lillian? She could be called Lily. I don't know the MN you had chosen but could you switch them around and use Lily in the middle?

If it is only a cousin you see on special occasions I would probably still use it - would she mind? Cousins sharing names is pretty common.

If you love it that much, I would use Lily as a middle name! However, alternatives to Lily I like are Violet and Sage. Briana is pretty and similar to one of your names, and I also thought of Blanca, but they're both B names. Hmm, I'll have to come back with some good suggestions later! So sorry you don't get to use your name.

(Also, was your cousin's baby born today 2/29? If so, how cool!)

Oh, that is really difficult! Lily is a great name, but I hope this can be a new journey for you to find a name that is even more special... Fingers crossed!
