    Ianthe vs Xanthe

    Which do you like better?

    Ianthe. Xanthe seems a bit awkward to me and Ianthe is much softer and prettier with the meaning violet.

    I don't find either hard to say (ee-an-thee and Zan-thee)

    I prefer Xanthe though. I love the Z sound at the beginning and Xan is a cute nickname.

    I love Xanthe. It seems fresh with names like Quinn or Wren.

    Xanthe! Definitely Xanthe, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine! It has such a distinct, original sound one of the very few, and underused x names that are beautiful!

    I like both but think I prefer Xanthe. If I used it I would nickname her Thea!
