Aw i was just going to suggest Finnick but the previous poster beat me to it lol! Besides Gale (which i think is a cool name) Finnick is the only other boys name I think could be used. When I was reading the books I thought Finnick Odair was such a cool name. I love the character peeta but I dont really like his name so maybe peter could be used as a substitute. And then Stars wars the only boys name I could think besides Anakin is Luke. I just know Erik and Lars for Norwegian names. And odin which I heard is becoming more popular here and is now in the top 1000. Good luck

Hottie Gael Bernal does make Gale a little more wearable.

--A pp said it was pn "HY-el" and I've never heard that, but that is probably due to regional accent. I would expect Jael to be pn "Hy-el" in Spanish.

--That being said, I pn Gael with 2-syllables and a long "i" more like "Guy-el" or "gEye-el" and not like "Gayl".
--The only Gail/Gayle I know are women, and one goes by Gaye, not an easy nn for a boy/man.

    My recommendation is ...

    Nils [and] Siri

Nils = Scandinavian male for "victory of the people"
Siri = Scandinavian female for "victory"

With your surname, I would definitely go with Gale over Luke due to the back to back k's. I find Luke "Kuh-newt-son" hard on flow, and a bit difficult to say. Without a full/distinct/deliberate stop between first name and surname, it sounds more like "Lucca Newtson" to me.
