1. Anneliese (lovely name!)
2. Celeste (I find this easier to pronounce)
3. Rosaline v Rosanna (neither are appealing to me. I prefer Rose)
4. Tessa (cute)
5. Thea (This was hard to chose between, but I only slightly prefer Thea to Mira because you may hear different pronunciations of Mira. ie. MEER-A and MY-ra)
6. Adeline v Seraphine (I absolutely adore both and can't pick between the two!)
7. Milena (much prefer)
8. Aria (Love nn Ari)

1. Angelica v Anneliese = Anneliese, very pretty!
2. Cecily v Celeste = Cecily, all the way. I love this name!
3. Rosaline v Rosanna = Rosaline, love love.
4. Jessamine v Tessa = Jessamine.
5. Mira v Thea = Thea.
6. Adeline v Seraphine (ad-uh-leen) = With the pronunciation Seraphine. If you went with Ad-ah-line I would have picked that one.
7. Maeve v Milena = Milena
8. Aria v Tabitha = Tabitha, because it is lovely and so much less trendy.Katherine Jayne Marie ~ Josephine Laurena Danielle ~ Elizabeth Louisa Mae
Caroline Annika Lee ~ Avery Leanna Lucille ~ Charlotte Pemberley Jayne ~ Philippa Austen Rose
David Theodore Henry ~ Edmund Daniel Jay ~ Greyson William Rex ~ William Edmund Jay

@holst - I don't see Jessamine as a poor form of Jasmine to be honest, since its an old, and legitimate, form of the flower name. I think it has more class than Jasmine, not to mention I know a million Jasmine's!
@ashthedreamer - I agree that Angelica Morgan sounds better, something is off about Anneliese Morgan, hmm. I would consider any of the names I don't use as middles, but probably not Aria Tabitha as I don't like the repeating a's.
@ebenezer.scrouge - the nn for Jessamine would either be Jessa, Mina or (my personal fave but not sure a child could pull it off) Minnie. If I went with Jessa it would probably be shortened to Jess but I'm fine with that. Jessica has always been hugely popular here in the UK too, but I've always liked it. We won't be going with Claudia, its not an option. We considered it for a while because of other peoples hangups about Claudie feeling like a nn for Claudia, but ultimately realised we love Claudie so much more and would use it 100% of the time so thats what we should go with. It feels like "our" name, and is so much more special to us than Claudia. Penelope would be Nell not Penny. I don't really want to go for wheres common and popular tbh, I avoid those names!
@kerrie - thank you! Don't you think Jessamine Morgan sounds bad because of the repeating m's? I'm struggling with this! I actually love Addie and there are no "Ad" names in the UK top 500 so Addie isn't at all common here
@bluebonnie - oh thank you very much, that means a lot! And how exciting you plan to move to Australia too! Is this in the near or distant future? We hope to travel there in the near future and move in 3-4 years!
@mary-la - I prefer the look of the Anneliese spelling, it feels less like a compound name top me and detracts from the potential "anal" teasing I think. Thanks though!

1. Angelica v Anneliese I just like the "a" ending and the nickname Angie, and it's easier to spell
2. Cecily v Celeste Celeste is just too "out-there" for me, sorry. I like Celia even better though.
3. Rosaline v Rosanna I would never use Rosanna because of a bad experience for me but it's great for someone else and younger than Rosaline.
4. Jessamine v Tessa Tessa is on my list so I just love it.
5. Mira v Thea I love Mira as well but Thea is interesting and different.
6. Adeline v Seraphine (ad-uh-leen) I prefer Adelyn and Seraphina, but out of the two, Adeline is great.
7. Maeve v Milena Maeve is just so boring to me.
8. Aria v Tabitha Another interesting, different, great name.Anastasia, Miranda, Lydia, Isabella, Georgia, Arena, Cadenza
Quinn, Enzo, Ronan, Preston, Marco, Grayson, Travis, Hudson

1. Angelica v Anneliese - Anneliese. Maybe it's the fact that I am of a certain age in the US, but Angelica IS the bratty toddler on Rugrats! In contrast, Anneliese is elegant and feminine without being girly or fussy.
2. Cecily v Celeste - Cecily First, I love the name Cecily. My reasons are also similar to the above. Cecily has a feminine, sweet sound, Celeste is a bit too girly for my taste. Also, for some reason, Celeste sounds dated to me and Cecily sounds fresh.
3. Rosaline v Rosanna - Rosanna They are both lovely, but I really don't care for the nickname "Roz", which I feel is a likely one for Rosaline (would you pronounce Rose-uh-line or roz-a-lynn?)
4. Jessamine v Tessa - Tessa I know it's a nickname, but I love Tessa and really don't care much for Theresa. Jessamine is also a very nice, unusual option, just not my style. Also, I think Tessa sounds great with your last name.
5. Mira v Thea - Thea, but only because "Mira Morgan" is too alliterative for me. Again, like these both.
6. Adeline v Seraphine (ad-uh-leen) - Adeline, but to be perfectly honest, neither of these are my favorites.
7. Maeve v Milena - Milena The three syllables and "uh" ending balances out the alliteration of Milena Morgan. Also, I love the name Milena and am meh on Maeve.
8. Aria v Tabitha - Aria, but only by a nose.
