Well, here are my thoughts:
1- Etta Mae reminds me of the singer Etta James, which isn't necessarily bad, I just thought I'd let you know. How about Greta Mae? Nora Mae? Stella or Ella Mae?
2- You can switch Mae up to Rae or Fae
3- Now, think of the other names you have with all of these possibilities:
Nora Rae
Nora Fae
Stella Rae
Stella Fae
Ella Rae
Ella Fae
Etta Rae
Etta Fae
4- Maybe you could find a way to use Etta as a nickname or middle name, if you'll have one. (Since you'll have a double first name)
You could get Etta as a nickname by the name:
Loretta
Marietta
Nicoletta
Elisabetta
Julietta
Rosetta
Henrietta
Antonietta
Claretta (claire-etta)
Isabetta (variation of Isabella)
Hope I helped
