What do you think of this?

    Gideon Silas Arthur?

I've kind of come round to liking! Arthur honours my grandfather too.

    Otherwise I really like...

Gideon Silas Ambrose (However, Ambrose seems too last namey to use)

    Gideon Xander August

    Gideon Henry August

I love all three of those names...

I can't use Arthur because my friends dads name was arthur and on his voicemail he would always enunciate his name so much that all I ever hear is an old man saying Arthur Barsky into the phone...and he said it like a question too...so its more of a joke to our family than to you...but yes, all those names are great

1 Gideon Silas Arthur - love this combo but then I'm a sucker for King Arthur and the Knights of the Roundtable! It's wonderful that Arthur is a family name too!

2 Gideon Henry August - A great blend of the Biblical, traditional and quirky!

3 Gideon Silas Ambrose - Love the underappreciated Ambrose but the "as" in Silas and the "ose" in Ambrose are a bit matchy in sound.

4 Gideon Xander August - Xander is a trendy name that I just can't warm to.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

Gideon Silas Arthur is excellent! It's handsome, distinguished, and I'd use it myself! I like that Arthur honors your grandfather too. Ambrose would be another great choice. I think it's a handsome, underused name.

What do you think of Gideon Arthur Ambrose?
