Lol, they do like to over-think it sometimes. The only Goldie I've known was a Jewish girl with dark brunette hair and brown eyes and the name fit her personality completely (bubbly, energetic, fun), but I think most people automatically think of Goldie Hawn so they associate the name with blonde hair and blue eyes. But it all comes down to personal preferences in the end. Good luck in the decision and congrats on your new baby girl!

    Suggestions:
    Minnie
    Jessie
    Gertie
    Addie
Mattie (if you like Matilda - maybe Mattie?)
    Ellie
    Georgie
    Billie
    Effie

I would strongly suggest you to take a look at Gertie and Effie, I would say Billie but I think it is too close to Birdie. Effie seems like the perfect name to me, other then the fact that it has 5 letters not 6 and it doesnt have the double I. Gertie has the 6 letters, but not the double I. I think if you just really focused on the "ends in ie" and "is a nick-name name" it will be theme enough.

Effie Adelaide sounds BEAUTIFUL. Gertie Aledlaide does not roll of the tounge as well, but I am sure it would be fine. Oh, I also think Minnie would work well, and though close to Maisie I think it is far enough that it would work. Minnie Adelaide, pretty. But Effie Adelaide just seems perfect to me.

Good Luck! Love you girls names!

It is so nice to meet someone with the same kind of OCD as me.

I love Tillie Adelaide. I think it sounds great with Birdie and Maisie and I love the double I as well.
