Smile Baby sister for caroline please advise!!!!!

    Hi all,

I have a daughter, Caroline and a son, Nicholas... I have another girl on the way and am stuck without a name.

I love the name Marlowe and want to somehow use it either as a first or middle name. What are some of your suggestions?

I like ultra feminine, timeless names that are not overly common.

Thanks so much for all the advice!

I don't think Marlowe fits well with Nicholas and Caroline. As a middle name it's fine though.

    Nicholas, Caroline, and Elisabeth.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Elise.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Georgia.
    Nicholas, Caroline, Michelle.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Danielle.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Alexandra.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Hanna.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Evaline.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Emma.
    Nicholas, Caroline, and Evangeline.

    Evangeline Marlowe is lovely.

I dont think Marlowe fits either, usually I dont care about sibsets but with such classically feminine and masculine names I would be concerned that a girl named Marlowe would feel a little strange about her name being so unisex. I would put it in the middle.

Eleanor Marlo would be perfect with Caroline and Nicholas. I'd save Marlo (like this spelling better for a girl)for the middle spot. Here are some other suggestions...

    Annabel
    Alexandria
    Elizabeth/Eliza
Margaret (though no Marlo in the middle)
    Josephine
    Philippa
    Victoria
    Cecily
    Alice
    Violet
    Aurelia
    Eva
    Frances

I agree Marlowe doesn't fit for a first name, but Love it for a middle! For some reason I instantly thought Esther Marlowe, but any E name, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Eloise, sounds cute with Marlowe in my opinion.

    Amelia Marlowe
    Abigail Marlowe
    Delilah Marlowe
    Lavender Marlowe
    Felicia Marlowe
    Julieanna Marlowe

I actually like Marlowe just fine with other names! But
I'm not really strict on having sibsets so I may be the wrong person to assess this. What about margot? I love this name!

Marlowe should be used in the middle spot. Or as a nickname for Margaret, perhaps? The spelling Marlo is a bit more girly though.
    Margo/Margot/Margaux could be an alternative.

I agree that Marlowe isn't the best fit with the classic Caroline and Nicholas, but it could work great in the middle. Here are my suggestions:

    Amelia
    Audrey
    Aurelia
    Aurora
    Fiona
    Georgia
    Josephine
    Juliet
    Louisa
    Lucy
    Maria
    Miranda
    Ruby
