Auden & Atticus
I have two children, Atticus Riley and Auden Gray. Auden is a girl. I just got a BFP. I'm so excited, but drawing a blank for boy names. I have zero ideas. I want it to fit -- to be literary and meaningful and smart. But I have no ideas. I wish I could just say it's because I'm sooo tired, but really I just suck at boy names. Auden Gray was our name last time, boy or girl.
I'm open to suggestions for girl names too. (We've talked about Zadie?) I'm unwilling to consider anything "popular." Many thanks!

And if you want to keep the A theme, Aristotle would be completely awesome.

I think you need to stick with an "A" name. What about Alcott? As in Louisa May Alcott? I think it works for either sex. And BTW, I adore your name choices!

I second the suggestions for Aristotle and Alcott!! great names that would fit with the siblings' names.
Also...
Almanzo (like in Laura Ingalls Wilder..)
Apollo
Aesop
Axel (William Faulkner character)
Aslan (C.S. Lewis' Narnia)
Arthur (like King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table...)
For girls, there's...
Artemis (I'd consider Greek mythology as pretty literary.)
Aravis (C.S. Lewis character).Last edited by kacey1010; February 17th, 2012 at 08:51 PM.

Great suggestions. Keep 'em coming. I was thinking Z. I don't know if having three As is cheese .... My husband was pushing for Finn last time, but I think it's a little too common for us.
My original girls name was Alvie Rae. It would have been after my grandfather, Alvin. (Remember in the movie beautiful girls when the girl Marti says, I'm named after a grandfather I never even knew ... That.) But now it doesn't really fit with the literary theme. And I think Rae and Gray are too rhymie.

How about Alexandria, nickname Zandie?? I know a girl with that name from college. It sticks with the A-theme you have, and is similar to your suggestion of Zadie. (also literary: Aunt Alexandria from To Kill a Mockingbird, which given your son's name, I would assume you're a fan)
