Xili....?
p. Zee-lee
It sounds African to me, but I like the sound. Would it be cute on a (probably) blonde, white girl, or would it just sound silly? It's simple enough to spell! Although, I'm sure everyone she comes into contact with will have pronunciation issues. That's not a problem for me, but I'm not sure how she'll feel about it once she gets older.Crushes: Casper & Isobel.

Personally, I would say no way! Totally off the wall and not cute at all in my opinion. But I am also a strong believer in following your own heart and taste in what you like, so if you really like it, go for it, but if my parents had named me that, I can't imagine that I would be happy about it at all!

The name being off the wall is what I like the most lol I think the main reason I like it though is that it reminds me of another name I really loved, but seemed to be too trendy/fad-ish. Keelee. The spelling of Xili is ugly looking to me, the sound is what I like! I'm really desperate for girl's names.. Maybe TOO desperate!

What about something like Gigi? Not used frequently, has a similar sound, and definitely much cuter in my opinion than Xili!

Xili...I got the pronunciation right, but I think she would be explaining her name a lot growing up. I had a Xiyi in one of my classes last year, but she started using Phoebe at school. I think pronunciation was a big issue among the other kids (5-7 yr olds).
I like Gigi much better if it captures that same sound you were after and I think Gigi could definitely be a good nn for Georgiana! I also had a Gigi in class whose full name was Giovanna.
I think you're on track that Keelee won't age very well. Brainstorming some other short/peppy/repeat-sound names...maybe Coco, Mimi, or Rory?
