My great-great grandmother's name was the Norwegian version of Bertha, Berte. It's a much softer name and to my ears, beautiful -- it's pronunced bear-tah except I can't phonetically spell the way Norwegians say the "bear" part, it's too hard. Oh well.
I like:
Berte Solveig
Berte Astrid
Berte Tore
Berte Sofie
For Bertha, I like:
Bertha Amabel
Bertha Amari
Bertha Cybele
Bertha Helene
Bertha Irene
Bertha Clemence
Bertha Pascale
