I know a Lisa Bella. Which is guess isn't THAT bad. But it just feels like such a weird combination of names to me. And it totally doesn't fit her. A close friend has a cousin named Crystal Chandelier, which I've never been able to get over. What were they thinking? I also once met a Krystal Ball. I swear, do parents think it's funny or something? I also know a Shy'Annnah and a Khrysteena, they're sisters. And a set of Arykah and Brei-Anna. A boy named Blaster, which I'm not really sure what to think about. And a six year old named Chandler Le'blanc, I mentioned the Friends reference to his mom, I actually kinda like his name cause I love the show, and she said her maiden name was Chandler, and she'd never seen the show. Um, okay. And Charne', pronounced Char-nay.
    Current favorites-

Girls- Winter, Eden, Violet, Belle, Colette, Iris, Clara, .

I don't think I've ever met anyone in real life with very weird names; nothing that sticks out, anyway. Of course, when I hear some celebrity names, I wonder what they were thinking.

We've had Linnea on our girl list, but I think we were mispronouncing it (lin-NAY-ah instead of lin-NEE-a or lin-NAY). It's a popular name in Sweden.

There is a difference between personal taste, and horrible names. Naming your kid after a disease or alcohol is a sin. Naming your kid "Shithead" should be against the law. And creative spellings are a poor choice that will have you and your child correcting everyone. But to put names like Nathan, Carson, Annie, and Madison and Linnea on this list is plain stupid, no offence. My great grandmothers name is Annie, it has been used generation after generation. They're real names, and though they may not be your personal taste, the are not horrible names at all. It really shocked me to see someone put them on this thread.

The worst I have heard is Oce@an Whele@n, though I'm sure there could be a lot worse.

I couldn't believe someone actually named their kids Lemonjello and Orangejello, that's pretty much insane. And Shithead. Heaven Leigh Angel is a lot for a child to have to carry around, too

Naming your child "Shithead" IS against the law - it's illegal to name children with obscenities in their name. That's just an urban legend, like Lemonjello and Oranjello.
16-year-old, not-so-average teenage boy with an obsession for baby names and animals. That's me!

What's wrong with Ophelia Richards? Am I missing something huge? ... My ln is Richards, too, and Violet Ophelia Claire is one of my top choices for a girl. I don't want to use something that would be utter torture, though. ... is the effect lessened because it's sandwiched between two other names? Hopefully?

I think it's because an old nickname for Richard is Dick ... Ophelia Dick... said in certain accents it can sound rather, ahem, propositioning to a man.

I think it has to do with Richard being another word for a male part. "I feel ya dick" with names in between I don't see a problem

Actually, if I remember correctly, Shithead was an immigrant from the middle east...so he would not have been subject to that law. I thought Lemonjello and Orangejello were a myth too, but I trust my brother when he says he met them.
