    Thanks guuuuys.

Just to clarify...the Kim-Marie pronunciation is what I was going for. But, more flow-y, like...said quickly, like Emery. I dunno. It's hard to explain. LOL. I think if I pronounced it Kim-Mary it would sound more like canary than Channary does, don't you think? Channary rhymes with Flannery, or at least that's how I'm saying it.

And I love Lorelai! Forgot about that one! Lol. I used to have Rhiannon on my list, but it just does not go with my last name AT ALL, so I gave it up.

Amica: I don't know, it's pretty cute, but I would never name my child that...
Aletta: Sounds like a name from a knock-knock joke.
    Verity: NMS
Phaedra: Seems old lady-like, also like a witch's name
Maire: I personally like Marie way better
Attica Don't you dare knock-off Atticus!
Annika/Onnica: I think Anakin Skywalker when I hear Annika.
    Odessa: Yay, Swan Lake!
    Idabelle: NMS
    Rhiannon: Rhianna and Rowan?
Lorelai: I like Lorelei a whole bucket-load better.

Ama (AH-muh) - Too much of a nn for me. If it was short for something I'd maybe like it.
    Amabel (AH-muh-belle) - It's ok. I don't like most "bel/belle" names.
Arabel (Do you prefer the ARE-uh-belle or AIR-uh-belle pronunciation?) - I prefer air-ah-bell. It's ok.
Astrid - Don't like most flower names. Also don't really like the "ass" sound.
Aviva* - Sounds like a brand of something, not so much a name.
Channary* - Don't like it. Too made up sounding.
    Charmaine - It's ok.
Coral* - I actually kinda like it, mostly because I like Cora.
Erika - Prefer the Erica spelling. It's a nice name, just NMS.
Flair/Flare/Flara* - I really don't like any of them but I'd choose Flara if I absolutely had to. Reminds me of Clara.
Kelley - Prefer Kelly. It's an ok name. I have a bad association with the name so I'm not a fan but if I didn't, I think I might like it.
Kimarie (combination of "Kim" and "Marie" - said kind of like Emery.) - I don't really like smoosh names. Sounds weird to me.
Laurel - Love it! A nice alternative to Laura/Lauren. Has meaning to me personally also because of my sorority.
Lisanne/Lizanne - I'd prefer Lizette personally but I don't really like any of them.
Riane (ree anne) - It's ok.
Sky - I feel like it's trying too hard to be hippy-ish, if that makes sense.
Vive/Viv'e (veev and vee-vay, respectively. I think I kinda made them up, lol.) - I'd like them ONLY as a nn for Vivian/Vivienne. Really don't like them alone.

Ama: I think this is the word for mother in some languages? So it would be weird on a baby to me.
Amabel: I don't dislike it, but I do see the room for confusion with Annabel. I actually prefer Amabel, but then again, I also like Mabel : D.
Arabel - I like the sound, I use the AIR prn, the ARE prn sounds like horrible with an accent. It does look incomplete to me, I like this spelling better but still want to knee jerk to Arabelle, and is starting to feel trendy though.
Astrid - I like many associations with this name but don't find it wearable.
    Aviva - love it! Beautiful
Channary - makes me think of a cannery. It's not awful, I just don't see what you'd get from it.
Charmaine - makes me think of Charmin TP!
Coral - I like it, but like Cora more.
Erika - is OK and Erica is even more OK. I do think it's dated but I still find it acceptable.
Flair/Flare/Flara - sorry, I just think of Points of Flair from Office Space...
Kelley - I agree, Kelly is preferable absent a huge family reason for Kelley. I don't mind either, to me it's similar to Erika.
    Laurel - lovely! Great choice!
    Lisanne/Lizanne - I prefer the Lisanne spelling....it feels a little tired.
Riane - seems to lightweight to me.
Sky - I like it OK, prefer it spelled Skye like the Scottish location.
Vive - nah, too much. I think it could be a nn for Aviva too though!

    What about....
    Ama: Aimee
    Astrid: Ingrid, Esther
    Aviva: Anona, Azuza, Azalea
    Channary: Flannery
