The Triplets are here!
In mid-January we welcomed three beautiful babies:
Hazel Magnolia June, August Django Kit & Walter Phineas Bay
Magnolia honours my mother-in-law, Maggie (Margaret), while June is for the babies' great-grandmother. Kit is for their uncle, Christopher, and Bay has special significance to both of us.
Siblings Emmett Linus Jack, Flora Hermione Kate, Miles Oscar Inigo 'Milo' and Edith Marlo Wren are ecstatic and adjusting very well. As it happened, they arrived on Flora's 7th birthday (she assures us she doesn't mind sharing) and two days after Edie turned 3, so January will be a very busy month for us!
For those of you interested in what they 'could' have been called, we went to the hospital with Hazel, Beatrix & Viola/ Felix, Hazel & Viola/ Felix, Jude & Sebastian or Calvin, August & Walter and...no idea what we'd name a girl and two boys. On another day they might have been Ramona, Felix & Jude/ Hazel, Felix & Sebastian / Walter, Phineas & Mabel or even Dexter, Phineas & Maple. But, as corny as it sounds, Hazel is definitely a Hazel, August is an August and Walter is a Walter through and through. We thought we might use Gus & Walt as nicknames for the boys but so far we haven't.
All three are doing well and it won't be long until the 9 (!) of us are all at home together.
