The First 10 Years Baby Name Game

Year of marriage: 2016

2016: After she got engaged to Jeremy on December 24th, 2016, Jillian found out she was pregnant a month later. The wedding date changed to February 15th, 2016, a small wedding with only friends and family, which is what they wanted anyway. They wanted to find out the baby's gender, but they decided to keep it a surprise. On October 14th, 2017, a girl is born to Jillian and Jeremy. Her name is Verena Annabelle Danvers. Annabelle honors Anna, Jillian's deceased maternal grandmother whose birthday was also October 14th.

2017: By the time Verena is eight months old, Jillian and Jeremy have saved up enough money to buy a house and move out of the townhouse that was formerly Jeremy's bachelor pad. They stay in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, which is close to both of their families. Pittsfield is also where Grandma Anna is from. 2018: When the owner of a bookstore from Jillian's childhood dies, Jillian is very upset. While visiting her Grandma Anna as a little girl, Grandma would take her to that bookstore and buy Jillian as many books as she wanted. Then, Jillian hears the owner's family is putting the store up for sale. On a whim, Jillian buys it, combined with her salary as a book editor and her inheritance money from her grandmother's estate. She's the only one that places a bid--and she gets it. She changes the store's name to Jillian's Bookstop.

2019: Now that Verena is two years old and they feel financially stable enough, Jillian and Jeremy decide to try for Baby #2. They get pregnant after the first try! And when they go in for their first ultrasound, they discover they're not only expecting one child but, two! Unlike last time, they find out the genders: a boy and a girl. On December 5th, 2019, Verena is introduced to her new little brother Logan Alexander Danvers and new little sister Sophie Charlotte Danvers.

2020: Jeremy works as an anthropology professor at Williams College in Williamstown. When the twins are seven months old, his boss makes him an offer: spend a year guest teaching at a university in Sydney, Australia. After talking it over with Jillian, they decide a job like this is not easily passed up and they agree. With Jillian's cousin Karl and his wife Hannah "house-sitting" and Jeremy's uncle Ben "store-sitting", the family leaves for Sydney in August. By the end of the year, the Danvers are disappointed to be leaving but are glad to be going home.

2021: Shortly after the Danvers family returns home to Pittsfield, Jillian starts feeling sleepy and sick. At first, she brushes it off as jet lag...until she realizes her period is late. After dropping off Verena and the twins at daycare, she stops quickly by a CVS and buys a pregnancy test. At her lunch break, she takes the test in the ladies' room and it comes back positive! She screams really loudly in the stall, alerting her work friend Holly. Jillian calls Jeremy at work and he runs over to the bookstore and they make out in the backseat of his car for thirty minutes. On June 10th, 2022, Jillian, Jeremy, Verena, Logan, and Sophie welcome triplets Declan Rhys Danvers, Poppy Imogen Danvers, and Caleb Finn Danvers.

2022: The triplets are five months old when Jillian meets Ashlyn, an eighteen-year-old girl who once attended a community college in Pittsfield before she got pregnant. Jillian had gone to high school with Ashlyn's cousin James. Ashlyn comes into the bookstore one day and the two women start talking. Ashlyn is four months pregnant, her parents threw her out of the house, and her boyfriend skipped out, and she is currently staying with James's parents. Jillian and Ashlyn become friends and Jillian gives the girl a job at the bookstore. Five months later, Jillian arrives at the bookstore early in the morning to open up and hears a baby crying. In the break room, wrapped up in a blanket in a small basket, she finds a baby girl with a note on the table. It is Ashlyn's baby. In the note, Ashlyn explained she wanted the baby to go to Jillian and Jeremy, not her estranged parents or relatives, and that she didn't want to see her child. Once you and your husband go through the proper procedures, the baby is officially your child. Her name is Jessamine Melody Danvers and she was born on April 24th, 2023.

2023: Six-year-old Verena comes home from kindergarden with a female Birman kitten in her arms. She said she found the kitten behind the playground after school and hid the kitten in her backpack on the bus ride home. Jeremy hangs around "Found Kitten" signs around the neighborhood, but no one claims the cat after a month. By then, the children have bonded with the animal and the parents don't have the heart to send it to the pound. Jillian takes the kitten to vet and she's perfectly healthy. Verena names her first pet CeCe, after her favorite character in "Shake it Up."

2024: The house Jillian and Jeremy bought when Verena was just a baby has suddenly become too small to raise seven children in. A house has gone up for sale in town, and it's within walking distance to the bookstore. 2025: Despite already having seven kids, Jillian and Jeremy find themselves having baby fever again. But after several tries, they are unsuccessful at becoming pregnant. And when two-year-old Jessamine starts asking questions about why she doesn't look like her brothers and sisters, they feel sorry for her. Jeremy suggests they adopt another child and Jillian agrees. On May 25th, 2025, Jillian and Jeremy bring home their new adopted baby boy, who was born on January 7th, 2024. They named him Justice Emmett Danvers.

2026: Jillian thought she couldn't get pregnant, which is why she and Jeremy adopted Justice. The couple goes away for their ten-year wedding anniversary, leaving the kids with Jeremy's parents. It gets spicey between them on the trip and Jillian feels sick on the plane. She goes to the doctor's a few days later and is shocked to discover she is pregnant! She and Jeremy are both nervous and excited and the kids are thrilled at the prospect of a new baby. On November 9th, 2026, Jillian and Jeremy have a baby boy named Gabriel William Danvers.
