Sister to Linnea and Clementine
Hi,
I'm interested to hear what name(s) you think go best with Linnea and Clementine. Our short list includes:
Frances
Fanny (I know, I know but I love the name and we live in Europe most of the year so there isn't the neg association)
Pearl
Juliette
Elizabeth
Mary-Kate
Madeleine
Emelie
Amelie

Frances - Lovely and classic.
Fanny - NMS. Plus, it sounds a bit more like a nn, and your older daughters have formal names. If you like it, maybe it could be a nn for Frances?
Pearl - LOVE
Juliette - I quite love this name.
Elizabeth - A nice, solid classic, though a bit lackluster when compared with your older children's names.
Mary-Kate - I'm not generally a fan of compound names, to be honest. This makes me think of one of the Olsen twins (actresses).
Madeleine - So very pretty.
Emelie - Not bad.
Amelie - Pretty.

I like Pearl, because it keeps with the "natural" theme of the other names (Linnea being a flower and Clementine being a fruit/flower). Plus, Pearl is a beautiful name.
pet peeves: nicknames as given names; unconventional spellings; masculine names on girls
not-so-guilty pleasures: five-syllable girls' names; virtue and nature names; over-the-top antique names for boys
(if i repeat name suggestions in a thread, it's because i like them! no apologies here for repeats of great names!
)

i have a pearl frances and a marin elizabeth so those are awesome choices. when i saw the other girls' names you have chosen i though penelope even though linnea and clementine are botanical names...so maybe something floral and classic like rose or rosemary?
