    Alternative to Boden?

I know Boden is not well received on here..but I love it...however if I have another boy I dont want him to have an unlikeable name.

Other than the obvious like Bodhi or Beau/Bo or Bowen or Brody/Brady what else is similar to Boden?

    thanks!

I don't personally like it but there are definitely worse names out there. If you love it don't let a bunch of internet strangers get you down ;-)

My son is Boden! Most people didn't like the name at first because they had never heard it before. We wanted a unique cool name but all the unique cool names were overused. Boden's name is never mispronounced. People have tried to spell it Broden because they cannot think outside the box. Boden is unique just like our son is. He will be 17 this year and since then I have only heard of one other Boden born in a town nearby us. We sometimes call him Bo, but he does not like that. I thought I would call him Bodie when he was little, but that never stuck. He is just Boden. I am still happy that we choose that name. We then had two other boys and had difficulty coming up with two more unique names! Good luck!

If you lived in Australia you would risk the child being teased if named Boden as they would possibly call him a bogan.

    Perhaps Owen would suit?
