    Ace or Sawyer

We are having our third son and can't decide between the names Ace or Sawyer. We don't have a middle name picked for either name yet. Our last name is Blumberg (Blum rhymes with plum). Our first two sons are named Jaxon Alexander and Lincoln Ezra. What are your thoughts?

Definitely Sawyer! Sawyer sounds wonderful with Jaxon and Lincoln Ace seems more like a NN and would be to short next to Jaxon and Lincoln IMO.

I agree with the PP--Sawyer, definitely! Jaxon, Lincoln, and Sawyer are a great trio, and I've always thought Ace was a lot to live up to. Have you considered Asa, nn Ace? I think that would work better with Jaxon and Lincoln, personally. As they are, though, I think Sawyer is a lovely, handsome pick.

    Good luck!

Sawyer. A. It fits great with your other sons' names style-wise and length-wise, and B. I think Ace is too nicknamey for a first name. If you're attached to the sound of Ace, you might consider Asa or another name with a long A sound to get there. But the three people I have known who go by Ace, either infrequently or regularly, don't have it as their given first names, so I think you could just call Sawyer "Ace" as a nickname.

    Congrats!

With brothers Jaxon and Lincoln, I would go with Sawyer. It has the same Southern/Western/cowboy vibe as Jaxon and Lincoln, and I think it wears much better than Ace.

I would also vote for Sawyer. I think it's a really cute name and goes well with your other two boys. (I love their names to, by the way.)

Sawyer is better. Ace is always that guy you see on reality TV who wants to be an Atlantic city gangster or have a gambling themed wedding.
