    Muriel, Mariel (I like Marielle best) are both great! You might also like Mirielle (not to be confused with Mireille which is said mee-ray) this sounds like it looks "miri elle" and I love it!

    I love the name Marielle I think Muriel is still old sounding. If you like the sea meaning... you could try Cordelia (daughter of the sea), Marina (from the sea), or Maren (sea).
