    Lush Names Like Georgia?

I'm searching for names that have the same rich, lush feel as Georgia. I'm not sure if it's the imagery of a Georgia peach, or the states itself, or something completely different that gives Georgia the appeal it has. I've considered the more feminine Georgiana, but I'm really looking for something that does not end in -a/ah. I don't have a list, since "lush" means something different to each person, so I thought I'd let you berries inspire me!

Georgia is just so lush isn't she? Love her! My first idea about a name similar to Georgia with the same image would be Gwyneth. Maybe the lush thing is a "G" thing then in my mind. Maybe other names like

    Garland (middle only i think!)
Geneva - what a stunning name!
    Gemma
    Galilae
Giulia - isn't Giulia just so much more lush then Julia?
    Gwendolyn
Gypsy - just heard of her today on Girls Gone Child - apparently she is the name that brought Mrs. Rebecca to the name Boheme! I don't know how usable she is, but she is certainly lush.

Other names that i consider lush:
Saphira - she has just been growing and growing on me recently
    Jessamine
    Cecilia
    Charlotte
    Shae
    Sheridan
    Cleo(patra)

And then names like Bliss, Dove, Ella, Matisse and names along those lines seem lush as well.

Well, i guess you're right about the meaning of lush being different to each person! Even I have different variations on my idea of lush!

Oh yes, Georgia is certainly lush! You've described it well.

    Names I think are lush:

Avalon - island of apples - totally lush.
Maple - trees full of bright leaves, syrup and baked goods
Monet - the impressionist paintings, especially of his gardens, are quite lush (plus the soft frenchiness of the name!)
Odessa - evokes Homer's Odyssey and the Ukrainian seaport city.
Pomona - makes me think of apples and California.
Velvet - Ok this one is a little obvious But I really can't help loving Velvet.
    Happy naming!
