Emily Deschenel Has a Boy!

Dork that I am, I've thought of names for the Bones baby, too, and I thought for a girl it'd be really sweet to name her Joy, since that was Brennan's birth name. I could totally see them naming a girl Joy Angela, or maybe using her mother's name (original-Ruth or undercover-Christine). And perhaps Keenan, her original surname, in the first or middle slot, if she were to have a boy. Keenan Brennan wouldn't work, but Keenan Booth would.

Totally off topic, I know, but wow, I was hoping for a gorgeous little girl: Joy Angela or Angela Joy. I'm kind of disappointed Angela and Hodgin's didn't welcome a girl because I'd have love to see Katherine Temperance, but I'm hoping for a healthy baby girl bearing Booth's surname. Ideally, I'm hoping for a Bones / Booth proposal, but that seems far off!

As for Emily's son... love Henry, not so keen on Hornsby as MN. Never come across Hornsby as a name, though, so might be one of those that needs to grow on me.

Well it wasn't my personal preference, but I'm glad they went with family names that held such meaning. Christine sounds very dated to me, but I love that they used it anyway. And the barn was a bit much, but I'm glad she got her non-hospital birth. :-)

I love it! It's one of my top favorite boy names but I can't use it because a boy from the center where I work is named Henry, and because I loved the name so much, I used it for a character in a story that I recently wrote.
