My name is Elena Scarlett Bauer. I was studying to be a elementary school teacher in Seattle, WA. I met my husband, Theo Gray
Sterling at the beach on a rare sunny day. I was laying on a towel trying to get tan(who can get tan in Seattle?) and Theo was playing frisbee with his buddies. I immediately was attracted to him, so I went over and asked if I could play frisbee with them. I spend the whole afternoon with them and I knew I already loved Theo. I learned that he was going to University of Washington, studying to be a physician. A year later, we were engaged. He propsed on the top of the Space Needle, where everyone stopped to take a picture on "The guy who almost dropped an engagement ring of the Space Needle". We were young to be married, I was 22 and he was 25, but we were in love. Theo and I had a small wedding in parent's backyard in the spring. My dress was exactly how I always wanted it to look. After we both graduated, we got job offers in San Diego, California and who could say no to that? I would be working at Wilson elementary and Theo got a job as a physician's asstistant at a clinic. Ten months after moving in, I realize my period is late. I shake it off thinking that it might be from the stressfulness of moving and starting a new job. After two months of missing, I tell my friend Lorelei, not wanting to worry Theo. She says to take a pregnancy test. I was shocked but realized she might be right. Sure enough, I'm pregnant. I tell Theo, worried that he'll be mad at me for not telling him right away. He surprises me by saying its, ok, just that I need to tell him next time. On September 8th, we welcome Jasper Charles.

Six months later, I'm late again. I start to think it's from stress of the baby, but I think otherwise. I take a pregnancy test, and sure enough, the second blue line appears. I give birth to Isaac Nathaniel on December 27, and he was the greatest belated Christmas present of all.

Three years later, Theo and I decided we were good with two kids, until I realize I missed my period. I nevously tell Theo, not knowing if he would be okay with another baby. He surprised me and was delighted to have another baby in the house. On June 1st, I give birth to a petite little girl named Clara Mae, after the little girl in the Nutcracker.

Eight months later, I get the telltale sign that I'm pregnant. I give birth to Matilda "Tilly" Alice on March 17th who I named after my favorite characters from storybooks.

Three years later, Theo and I were positive we were done with kids, until I start to feel morning sickness... We welcome Magonlia "Maggie" Lilac on October 8th. Clara and Tilly help me name her after their favorite flowers.

One year later, I find out I'm pregnant again! By now, Theo and I have bought another house with plenty of bedrooms for what seems like a never-ending supply of babies. Ronan Declan is born on August 24th and was named after his Irish great-grandfathers.

Five months later, I'm not surprised I'm pregnant again. Leo Orion is our wild child who was born on July 11th. He was named after a lion because of his loud cry.

Seven months later, Theo's surprised I can still get pregnant. We welcome Layla Daisy to the Sterling Crew on April 28th. She is helped named by Maggie, who loves daisies.

Six months later, I feel sick again. We have another baby boy named Rhys Walter on April 23. He is named after his grandfather Walter.

Nine months later, Theo and I have our final baby, a girl named Elena "Elle" Anastasia on November 9th. We named her after myself and my great-grandmother.
