    Evelyn Bridget

Is Evelyn Bridget too abrupt? Does it flow? It is said two syllables not three.

I'm making the assumption that you're pronouncing it EEV-lin here, and if that's how you're saying it then I think it's lovely Definitely not too abrupt, I'd use the term "strong" instead. It flows quite nicely in my opinion, and is feminine without being cutesy or too sweet. It's a really nice choice, and Evie/Eve/Eva are cute nicknames for childhood if you like them.

If you're pronouncing it EV-lin, a far less common pronunciation, then it's still lovely but it's a lot harsher. And you'd have the issue of people assuming it's pronounced EEV-lin or EV-uh-lin.

These are two of my favorite names. (named my kitten Bridget lol). The flow depends on your pronounciation.

I prefer the EV-uh-lin pronounciation. Seems more feminine to me, but would be three sylables which makes a difference. I'd pair it with a one sylable mn such as Evelyn Rose, Evelyn Grace etc...

If you're thinking the 2 sylable Eev-lyn then Evelyn Bridget has a great flow.

I'm British and I knew of the pronunciation EEV-lin, I didn't know it was exclusive to the UK though :P

Well, in my mind it isn't the best flow, but that shouldn't matter too much if you really love the name. Evelyn is pretty popular, so maybe balance it out with a more unique MN, like:

    Evelyn Thelma
    Evelyn Bethany
    Evelyn Bledelle

    Best of luck!
