Re: floral favorites and "Rose" variations

I just thought a cute nn for Amaryllis would be Marilla. I am obsessed with this name because I loved the Anne of Green Gables books so much.
Mom to Clementine the cat and Friedman the fatter cat.

I don't think I would use it, but I think Bluebel(le) is such a cute name- with the nn Belle

Dahlia is a very nice floral name especially since it does not automatically make you think of the flower. Peony is also fun.

I like Rose as a first name, but hate it as a middle since it and Grace are completely out of control at this point in that position. I swear every little girl I meet is Suchandsuch Rose or Soandso Grace.

I like Rosalind, Rosamund, and Rosaline a lot. I think I could even come around on just Rosa.

Rosemary is my favorite by far. Sweet and vintage, yet still keeping with modern styles. I love all the possible nicknames too. That -mary at the end opens so many doors for nicknames.
