Miles Andrew....or am I missing something better?
Ok so I am pretty much set on my third son's name as being Miles Andrew, to go with older brothers Owen Joseph and Rhys Patrick. I like the way the name flows and I think it matches in style and charm, will being a little old fashion yet hip. I like names that are cute on boys and sound strong and classic on men - for whoever they grow up to be. My only downside is I wish it was 4 letters like Owen and Rhys, but no big deal.
Almost names: Tate, Finn, Flynn, Cael, Cole, Liam, Henry, August, Wynn, Quinn, Jasper, Asher.....probably more I am forgetting now. I ruled out Quinn, Finn, Wynn, as being too close to Owen. Cael and Cole - my last name is a C name and seems sing songy. Still love Cael. Liam is too popular. August is month baby is due so could be weird and also don't like Gus or Auggie as a nickname. Jasper and Asher I love but not sure they go with Owen and Rhys as well??
Question- any other ideas or names I should consider??? Final thoughts nameberrys???? Or should I just stop searching?

Re: Miles Andrew....or am I missing something better?
I vote for Miles Andrew over Graham August. Graham is a little matchy in sound with Owen. Miles nn Milo would be a wonderful name for Rhys and Owen's sibling. My second choice would be Tate Alexander. I love Cael too but I don't think it would be ideal with your surname. I guess you've pretty well considered every four-letter name by now? :? Another option if you didn't want another Celtic name would be to choose something like Jude or Luke to get your four letters. Personally, I don't think the four letters is a big issue. You should just concentrate on finding a name you love and that goes well with your sons names and your surname. Miles does qualify, doesn't it or do you still think there's another name out there for you? Anyway, all the best and let us know what you've finally chosen in the Birth Announcements! Regards, Mischa.
All the best,
Mischa.

Re: Miles Andrew....or am I missing something better?
I am perfectly content with Miles Andrew and so is DH. We both like Miles and calling him Milo is a nice option for a nickname. Andrew is a family name yet suits the same style as my other sons' middle names in that it is traditional. I like the flow too. I guess I am just still pondering....this is my last baby to name and I guess I am still kicking stuff around in my head. I like Tate but I feel like it does not sound as spunky next to Owen and Rhys. DH is not a fan either.
Can't use Luke or Jude for other reasons. I guess this is just my last call for any other cool options!!!

Re: Miles Andrew....or am I missing something better?
SO Miles it is ....I have been calling him this in my head so I am feeling pretty confidant this is the right name!
Andrew and Augustus are family names and while I was set on Miles Andrew I have been thinking Miles Augustus is cool too or Miles August. The baby will be born in August and it was my grandfathers name. Andrew is also family and meaningful so I am not sure which one to go with. My older boys have traditional middles also family- Joseph and Patrick. Which one?
