    Re: MN for Theodore?

I'm with you on this. Theodore (middle name) D-(two syllable last name). First and foremost, I'd avoid any vowel starting names. I'd rather not have initials that spell something so definitely go with a consonant. You're right in the syllable count. It seems like a 3-1-2 syllable count would work best. Consider what you mentioned earlier like Max. Look into others like these:

    Ben
    Blake
    Clark
    Clay
    Frank
    Grant
    Hugh
    James
    Jay
    Joel
    Kyle
    Lee
    Luke
    Mark
    Neil
    Paul
    Ray
    Reed
    Ross
    Roy
    Sam
    Scott
    Seth
    Wade
    Will

There's a whole lot of first syllable consonant names out there that don't begin with T or D. Happy hunting.
