Re: One week out: is Shepherd a good name for Charlie's brot

Shepherd reminds me of a mild and gentle medium sized long haired dog. I agree with amandachristine that it is okay and if you love it use it I think it would work better in the middle name spot.

Charles and Curtis work better for me but Shepherd doesn't work with Curtis I like Curtis Alexander.

More names that work with Charles

    Oliver and Charles
    Fraser and Charles
    Anderson and Charles
    Douglas and Charles
    Laurence and Charles
    Quentin and Charles
    Stuart and Charles
    Eliott and Charles

    rollo
    Psalm 23

I like Shepherd and Charlie together, especially with Carys as a sister, which is a little less classic American than Charlie. I say go for it!

I realize you may already have had your baby, but for the record I love Shepherd. We just had our 2nd boy 10 weeks ago, and I really liked this name but my husband rejected it. When I mentioned it to people they thought it sounded like a dog, but I disagree and think it's a really great name. I hope you go for it.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. It's really helpful. I hadn't thought about the Lost connection, although I had thought of the sheepdog. ;-) I think we're going to go with it. Thanks again!
