Of course the Brayden, Jayden, Cayden....etc...etc...

I really can't stand the Jackson fad, and even worse the Jaxon fad.

I can't stand Katelyn/Kaitlyn/Kailtlin/Caitlin/Catelyn/Caitlyn because of all the different spellings.

I used to love Mackenzie when I was younger, but then all the mack names happened. I really don't like the Mikayla, Makayla, Mckayla, Mckenna, Mackenna, Makenzie...etc

This includes: Kayla, Kaylee, Kylie, Kylee, Kyla....

I'm going to call the following Banal Beige Names. Its the khaki pants or vanilla ice cream of naming. These are the new John and Mary: flat, mundane, and square. From schools to books and films, theyre often the undistinguished classics that are just overused everywhere and see no signs of stopping. Although you cant really love or hate them, it often reflects the uncritical eye of parents and writers.

    Alice
    Charlotte
    Claire
    Eleanor
    Eliza
    Frances
    Grace
    Isabel
    Julia
    Lucy
    Madeline
    Margaret
    Nora
    Rose
    Virginia

    Charles
    Edward
    Frederick
    George
    Henry
    Hugh
    Jack
    Patrick
    Philip

Why dont you choose something less drab and unimpressive? Your children or even characters could do better.

oh dear, i would love to use a lot of these (if they weren't so popular)
i think eliza, nora, virginia are all gorgeous.... and actually those 3 are very uncommon in the UK!
also i love george and hugh (george is v v v popular, but hugh is a rare one over here!)

its funny how peoples ideas of the same name are so different X

I live in a town with a lot of people from the Indian culture, so we have very interesting names here. I'm especially sick of hearing Pooja on girls. But I also hear so many Briannas, I cant even keep track anymore. On boys there are many James, Roberts, and Akashes. Also many Amans, and many Josephs.
