Need longer names for nickname "Tate"

    Hey everyone -

One of my friends loves the nickname Tate for her soon-to-be-born daughter, but her husband doesn't like the name on its own, and they can't decide on a longer version that they both love. They don't like Tatiana (or any form of it). The only one they like so far is Tatum, but they aren't in love. They're open to any suggestions - place names, word names, unisex names, etc. Also, they have a 3 year old daughter named Harper, if that helps. Please leave any suggestions you have!

    Thanks!

Tatum came to me immediately and I think it is a good fit for a sister for Harper. I can't think of any other names!

Tathana? Welsh name which comes from place name St Athan. Not quite Tate but closest I could come up with beyond Tatiana and Tatum!

Re: Need longer names for nickname "Tate"

P.S. I just found that 7 little Tatenda's were born in the UK in 2009 (girls). The same amount born as girl Tatum's as it goes. And there were 8 female Tate's. There were also 4 female Temitayo's, 6 male Tayden's (though this one sounds like a bad mix of Taylor and Jayden to me!) and 5 male Tayte's. Hope that helps.

    Mattea
    Talitha
    Tamaya
    Teresita

    Surnames:

    Tacey
    Tainter
    Taper
    Taviner

Or she could go for a name beginning with 'Ta' and a middle name beginning with 'T' i.e. Tamara Tess or Taylor Tierra.
