Name For a Boy? Or Is It a Girl?

    Fifer.

Do you think it is a girls' name, a boys' name -- or is it truly unisex?

What do you think of this name?

Well the only Pfeiffer I know is a boy, so my association is male. Although, what ISN'T unisex nowadays?

Fifer sounds and looks like a boy's name to me. I like it although it's not my style.

Fifer Maxwell and Fifer Lennon sound great with it.

I actually yesterday saw this name and loved it! I do think its truly unisex since even though I prefer it on a boy it could go either way. But its uncommon so it's not like Makenzie or something when it's dominated by girls.

Fifer Julian or Fifer Demetrius are both awesome combo's!

I guess it's truly unisex for me. I can imagine a darling little boy named Fifer -- equally a darling little girl!

This name looks unisex to me. I do think it looks spunky for a girl, however, and there's always the thought of the nn 'Fifi'!

I do think the idea of nn Fifi is cute. I just hope the girls don't entirely steal, as I'm liking the idea of a boy application.

It seems girly to me. Whether it's the similarity to Piper, the Michelle Pfeiffer connection, or the idea of a "fifer" being a musical name,
I don't know. But I would think it's kind of silly and effete on a boy.

It sounds to much like Piper to me, so I initially thought girl. Yeah. I'm trying so hard to change my mind and say boy but *SIGH*... Girl name.
