Say: Hi Jane, nice to meet you.
Think: Jane seems so plain compared to the middle name. I don't particularly care for either.

    This is my daughter Reva.

Say: Reva, how cute your are! How are your today?
Think: A little too southern or soap operaish for my taste but not a terrible name.

I'd like to meet my cousins from Europe, Carola and Arno.

Say: Hi Carola! Hi Arno! How are you?
Think: Carola makes me think of a car and I find it quite chunky. Arno seems like a nickname.

I'd like you to meet my children Octavia, Beatrix, August & Elizabeth and Hermione.

Say: Hi kids! How cute you all are!
Think: All these are just lovely names! I'm glad to see that Harry Potter hasn't kept people from using Hermione.

This is my son, Grant Isaac and my daughter, Christiana Louise.

    Say: Hello!
Think: I like Grant Isaac, the combination, how about Isaac Grant? I find it equally lovely. Of Christiana Louise... I've never been a fan of Christiana, but of Louise yes. The combination clicks, but it's nothing spectacular.

Hi, may I introduce you to Louisa Kate and Daphne Ophelia

Say: Hi girls, nice to meet you.
Think: I have never cared for Louisa but the combo sounds ok. Ophelia is definately not my style but sounds nice with Daphne.

    This is my daughter Lynette.

    Say: Hello there, Lynette!
Think: It comes across as quite dated to me, but I find it a lot more interesting on an actual child than I did in a vacuum. I've always liked Linnet but I've been put-off by the fact that I thought it would generally get mispronounced as Lynette, but I'm not sure if that seems so bad anymore.

This is my son, Kester, and my daughters, Iona and Lark.

    Say: Hi, what unusual names!
Think: Kester: I like that its a variation of Christopher as opposed to going with the more popular version, but ironically, I like Christopher more. I would have gone with Crispin maybe, Kester sounds a bit too much like Kestrel for my liking.
Iona: I love this name, I think it is really unique and unusual without being weird and difficult to pronounce.
Lark: I don't really like Lark, even though I've never actually met anyone with that name, it seems a bit dated.

Say: Hi Lionel, nice to meet you.
Think: It sounds cute but Lionel just isn't my style.

    Say: Hi, Keegan.
Think: NMS, but it's not a bad name at all, quite handsome actually. I like the Keagan spelling better.
