Say: Hi Kit! I love your name!

    twindaughters Caterina and Elisheva

    Caterina

    Say: What an unusual name!
Think: Too close to Katrina (which makes me think of hurricanes)

    Elisheva:

Say: How do you pronounce that again?
Think: That poor child. No one will ever be able to say her name correctly.

    Re: Think/Say

Hehe Caterina is pronounced like Catherina, and Elisheva as ay-li-SHE-va.

I'd like for you to meet my son, Alexander Clay and here's my daughter, Audrey Suzanne.

    Alexander Clay
Say: Alexander's a beautiful classic, and Clay is also a great name.
Think: Love Alexander, don't really like Clay.

    Audrey Suzanne
    Say: Those are great names!
Think: Like Audrey, Suzanne feels a bit dated to me.

I'd like you to meet my son Howard (nn Howie).

Say: Hello Howard, what a distinguished name!
Think: I respect the bold choice, but there are better 'old man' names to choose from. I hope they don't call him Howie

I'd like you to meet my son Malcolm
