Met an awesome early 20 yr old Havanna today. I've always thought the name was pretty but didn't know how it would work in real life. She got a few compliments on her name while we were introducing ourselves.

Saw on twitter a sibset of Sailor (b), Hazzard (b) and Riley (g). Not sure what to make of Hazzard but I like Sailor & Riley. We're actually beginning to consider Sailor for #3.

I am in Brazil, fyi, but here are some names I heard recently or heard from my friends. (I have friends with very odd names.)

    Children recently:

Olivia (my baby sister who's 3, I call her Vivi and she calls me Lulu)
    Pietra
Heloisa (or perhaps Eloisa, not sure about the spelling)
    Joaquim
    Benicio
Valentina (LOVE, will probably name my child that)
    Clara
    Malena
    Marilia

    My friends:
Arion (for both boys and girls)
    Alef
    Isly (g)
Gabriel Seraphim (Seraphim is a last name here, but I think it looks pretty)
    Sander (b)
    Theo
    Nicolau (nn Nico)
Maitê (no idea how to transcribe the pronounciation)
    Emile
    Raul
    Orlando
    Tainara
    Andrey
    Alexia
    Laurene (g)
    Satia
    Samir

    Rhander
    Heleuzes (b)
    Bianca
    Jimena
    Jade
    Sebastian (nn Seba)

Amanda Lucci (Lucci also a last name)
    Anuah (g)
    Suzana
    Ethore
    Marisa
    Cervantes
Victor Leonidas (Leonidas also a surname)

Also, my grandma is called Dilce, and her sisters are Dalva, Delza, Doris and Antonia. And my grandpa is called Amador (he's Spanish). And my mum is called Luscila which is very different, esp. due to spelling? If any of them sound common to you, trust me, most of them aren't around here. (I could also make a list of names that are common here but aren't elsewhere if anyone's interested.
