What do you think of Soft boys names

Does it ever annoy you how there are more girls names than boys in my opinion,But girls still tend to be named after boys names.
In the future do you think the previous boys names will be considered for a girl more then a boy.
I love softer sounding boys names but many girls are named the same thing.
I think these names are entirely just for boys no matter how soft they sound.
    Micah Mycah
    Luca
    Taylor
    Sam
    Jet
    Beck
    Finn
    Adare
    Everett
    Tiernan
    Brogan
Would you rather name a boy or girl these names?
what names do you think are soft but sound better for a boy than a gir?

Not all of these are necessarily my style, but I agree that they're all boy names. My son is Luca though, so I'm biased. As for the future, I wouldn't worry too much. I don't think the crossover thing will matter the way it has for previous generations. And I think that if you raise your child to be relaxed about such things then they will be :)

    Micah- defintely a boys' name
    Luca- ditto
Taylor- I have never really liked this name, but can still see it being used equally for a boy or girl.
Sam- for a girl this is short for Samatha, and a boy for Samuel, so I don't really consider this the same thing
Jet- this is being used as a gilr's name?
Beck- can see this a nn for Rebecca, but not an independent girl's name
    Finn- defintely a boys' name
Adare- to me this sounds like a girl's name since it is similar to Adele
Everett- boys name all the way
Tiernan and Brogan- these both sound very masculine to me- I can't even picture them on a girl

Re: What do you think of Soft boys names

Micah Mycah (mee-cah or my- cah) - BOY

Luca - GIRL (try lucian for a boy)

    Taylor - GIRL

Sam - BOTH (i love samuel - hate samantha)

    Jet - BOY

    Beck - BOY

Finn (My very own predicament! I love the name finley nn finn but only for a girl not for a boy. I like finnegan or Griffn nn finn for a boy) so - BOTH

    Adare - BOY

    Everett - BOY

    Tiernan - BOY (tienery- girl)

    Brogan - BOY

Would you rather name a boy or girl these names?
    - I think most of the names on your list i would use for a boy. but there were a few i would use for both

what names do you think are soft but sound better for a boy than a gir?

sam is a soft name but like i said i hate the name samantha (i dont know why) but love samuel. Also i dont think the names everett, adare, jet are very soft at all - unless there is female equivalent that i dont know about!

    :) good luck

Re: What do you think of Soft boys names

Ive always loved softer sounding boys names. Alexis and Sasha are two of my favorites. However, in the US I dont think either could be used on a boy. There is something about them that just sounds so romantic and attractive on a man. Not sure why.

Everett is one of the most masculine names I know. I've never imagined either that or Finn as a girls name. It would be quite sad if they were "stolen" :(

Re: What do you think of Soft boys names

I can't stand boy names on girls, even ones like Ashley (trendy and overused), Loren, etc. I barely even register Piper as a female name but since it's an occupational name, I suppose I should get over it.

I love softer names. Favorites on my list right now are:
    Luca
    Milo
    Shia
    Shea
    Casey
    Ames
    Ezra
    Avery
    Reese/Rhys
    Ash/Asher
    Morgan
    Alexei

and I really love Addison on a little boy <3.
I've met these girls with very boy names, IMO:
    Logan
    Ryan
    Cassidy
Jeremy (seriously? my first boy name on girl experience)
    Devan/Devon/Devin
    Madison
    Mischa
    Riley

and I recently heard a mother call her daughter this at the park: Isaiah. ISAIAH!
