I know I've posted a few threads like this in the past, but I've been reviewing more lists of graves in my area (internment.net is the site I use!), and I've come across some outstanding combinations (which I'll post later in a separate thread), and some, intriguing name choices.
The names that I found repeated the most, were Phebe and Ellenor, presumably because during the 1800s, many people actually did not attend school for long, if at all, so the spellings and the writing skills were often confusing. Many names are spelled out as they sound - similar to a trend occurring now.
Also, a lot of 'trendy names' such as Hudson and Ashton appear frequently, I've noticed a lot of Findlay/Finlay/Finley's before in other cemeteries too, dating back as far as the 1700s.
Here's the list (sorry it's rather lengthy!):
Different choices & unusual names:
Fidelia (this one appears a lot!)
Wiloughby Staples (b)
Sidwell Estella (g)
Manda (g - born 1799)
Ariel (g - born 1888)
Faith Philip (gender unknown)
Ashton (b, born 1869)
Decourcy (father and son shared the name)
Hugh Bluett (......)
Ailis (possibly Ay-lish, or Alice)
Thirza Otrige (also has a daughter named Thirza)
Emeretta (maiden name - Emery)
Louie Ereline (g)
Ray Agnes (gender unknown)
Are there any names on that list that you would choose to use?
Charlie. Thomas. Jamie. Thomas. Aaron. Joel. Freddie. Ethan. Harrison.
Henry. Matthew. Hadley. Addison. Andrew. Ashton. Ollie. Albert. Jake.
Jayne. Millie. Charlotte. Alice. Eleanor. Hannah. Harriet. Claire. Martha.
Minnie. Rosie. Tilly. Annabelle. Sophie. Kathryn. Violet. Betsy. Lucy-Mae.

Thanks for posting-- I find the names in old cemeteries interesting too!
I like the idea of Credence for a boy-- maybe with the nn Creed? I wouldn't use it as a name, but I do love Cherry Maud-- it just reminds me of pie!
Some others that I like from the list or think have potential:
